Ohio Outdoor Recreation Economy Conference
Poster and social media design
This branding design project was created for the Ohio Outdoor Recreation Economic Conference (OOREC), where I developed both a poster and a series of social media assets. With full creative freedom, I redesigned the OOREC logo and adopted a natural, illustrative visual direction. To emphasize the conference’s connection to the outdoors, I incorporated earthy tones, hand-drawn elements, and textures inspired by natural materials such as paper and cardboard. My intention was to reflect the beauty of Ohio’s outdoor landscapes while maintaining a professional, event-appropriate, yet fun and engaging tone. The goal was to build a brand identity that felt true to the conference’s mission and resonated with a diverse audience of outdoor enthusiasts, policymakers, and industry leaders. I designed a cohesive system that could translate effectively across both print and digital platforms. This project strengthened my skills in visual storytelling and helped me develop a unified design language from concept through execution.
